Individual, Intake and Family Sessions

In-Network:

I am In-Network with several commercial/private insurance companies for which I use a billing/claim processing company, Alma Community Network, LLC. Upon choosing to utilize payment through insurance, you will be prompted to have an eligibility check of your insurance verified through Alma to ascertain if I am In-Network.

An eligibility check confirms A) that your coverage is active, B) that your insurance benefits cover the services the therapist will provide, and C) how much the insurance company estimates your service will cost (your payment responsibility).

When choosing to use your insurance company to pay for services, you agree to paying the co-payment associated with services and the terms agreed to through your insurance. For any questions about details of your insurance plan, please reach out to your insurance company.

In the case of missed or late-cancelled appointments, please note, most insurance does not cover payment and you would be responsible for paying the fee in full.

Out-of-Network and Private Pay:

If I am an Out-of-Network provider, meaning I am not paneled to accept the insurance you use, you may to request reimbursement from your insurance company ahead of our first meetings to verify it will be accepted. You are then responsible for obtaining and filling out any appropriate paperwork and submitting it to the insurance company. I will be glad to provide a Superbill for you to send for reimbursement as I do not file insurance claims for out-of-network. If your insurance provider will be covering the cost of your counseling, you will need to make arrangements with them to reimburse you directly.

For out-of-network providers who do not offer reimbursement, you will be considered Private-Pay and are responsible for payment in full.

Please not that I do not take Medicaid/Medicare/State Insurance at this time.

Cancellation Policy

All sessions may be cancelled with at least 24-hours notice without a fee. If sessions are cancelled with under 24-hours notice, the full session fee is due and will be charged.
